Impact of the valley orbit coupling on exchange gate for spin qubits in silicon

چکیده
Abstract The mixing of conduction band valleys plays a critical role in determining electronic spectrum and dynamics silicon nanostructure. Here, we investigate theoretically how valley–orbit coupling affects the exchange interaction double quantum dot. We find that splitting can be strongly suppressed at finite valley phase differences between dots because valley-phase-dependent dressing ground states Coulomb integrals, small render Hamiltonian incomplete describing low-energy due to nearby excited states. higher orbital are also vital calculating splitting, which is crucial for applications such as gates spin qubits.

Gate-dependent spin–orbit coupling in multielectron carbon nanotubes
We here present additional theoretical analysis and experimental data supporting the conclusions in the article. First, the carbon nanotube dispersion relation including spin-orbit interaction is reviewed starting from a modified Dirac Hamiltonian, and the single-particle model used in the fitting procedure is explained. Second, tunneling spectroscopy data and the corresponding analysis used to...

abstract although music possesses some kind of power and using it has been welcome by many students in language classrooms, it seems that they take a non-serious image of the lesson while listening to songs and they may think that it is a matter of fun. the main objective of the present study was to investigate whether learning a foreign language through musical texts (songs) can have an impac...

Anisotropic charge transport is observed in a two-dimensional (2D) hole system in a perpendicular magnetic field at filling factors nu=7/2, nu=11/2, and nu=13/2 at low temperature. In stark contrast, the transport at nu=9/2 is isotropic for all temperatures. Isotropic hole transport at nu=7/2 is restored for sufficiently low 2D densities or an asymmetric confining potential. The density and sym...
